Scope/Overview with Educational Benefits:
This course is designed to help students develop mastery over their thoughts and, in turn, their behaviors and outcomes. Using a structured approach founded in Christ and rooted in mindset training, students will learn to recognize thought patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and implement intentional thinking to align actions with their highest potential. They will learn the science of what happens within the body and the effect of thoughts. The course aims to cultivate resilience, self-discipline, and an awareness of the mind-body connection, equipping students with lifelong tools for personal growth and success.
Method of Teaching:
Following the principles of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy, this course will be taught through living ideas and meaningful conversations rather than rote memorization. Lessons will be woven into engaging narratives, real-life applications, and thoughtful reflections. Students will engage with powerful stories, case studies, and guided journaling to internalize the concepts of thought mastery. Through Socratic questioning, self-observation, and discussion, they will be encouraged to examine their thinking patterns, beliefs, and resulting actions. The goal is to foster deep, reflective learning that empowers students to take control of their internal world, transforming how they interact with the external world and ultimately learn how to become the creator of their life!
